Most popular fillings this time of year to pair with chocolates are peanut butter filling and caramel filling. I'll show you how to make the homemade (more delicious) version of these using simple ingredients and little bit of technique!
The recipes for the fillings are listed below. The caramel filling should give you plenty to fill 8 chocolate eggs, whereas the peanut butter filling recipe makes enough to fill 16 eggs.
These eggs can be made ahead of time since the fillings are room temperature stable and do not need to be refrigerated.
(this makes enough caramel to generously fill 8 eggs with caramel, with leftovers for your sundaes :) )
